I started using a router for some basic projects earlier this year. I bought this set of bits expecting they probably wouldn't be the best or longest-lasting, but it had the sizes and styles I needed and at a great price. I've been really impressed with them and have used half of them so far! Given that these have 1/4" shanks, I'm making sure to do two passes for anything deeper than 1/4". It takes longer but the cuts are cleaner and it all but eliminates the risk of the bit bending or breaking.

A few different straight bits have powered through about a hundred feet of various kinds of lumber in my router table and are still sharp. The cove box bits I use in my plunge router and they're working great. I'm still trying to perfect the spacing and height for the angle of the corner round, cove, and ogees, but that's on me and not the bit. I'm not sure if I'll use the rest, but I like having them in case I find a need for them. They're all making nice clean cuts.

Balanced well enough, sharp enough, good variety. For crying out loud people, it's a BUDGET set of router bits. If you want something fancy, go pay for it!! If you need them to work every day for ten years, pay for it!!! If you are like me and just want to fiddle around with molding and frames, can't go wrong with these. Shipping was super fast, bits were packed well. If I were to complain, I'd say they fit too snugly in the box and that the part of the box they are mounted it doesn't pivot like my old set did, so it's a PITA to get them out. Other than that, meets expectations.

I say! Just what the doctor ordered! No but really, these bits are actually somewhat pretty darn good for as cheap as they are. A "professional" set like this is about $150 bucks or around $25 per single router bit. Now can I say these last as long or longer? I cannot say that until that time comes, but depending on you and your use and if you take care of them I would say they will last fine. They are very solid and the few I have used work great for me!

I can’t speak very well as to how these will hold their sharpness over time (I’ve only had them for about 3 months), but I’ve used almost half of the bits already and they cut great. The assortment had all the basics that one might need and a variety of sizes of certain types. I’ve personally had great luck with these and have recommended them to a few of my friends too!
